Scuba Diving 2

Some of the fish we saw were the Parrotfish,  a Stingray, and a Spotted Drum. We also saw some fish like a Puddingwife, a Christmas Tree Worms, and many coral including Brain Coral, Fan Coral, and some other that I don’t know the names of. Fish change during the stages of life and look entirely different at every stage.

Parrotfish eat and when they “eliminate” they excrete sand and most of the sand on the beaches is from a Parrotfish. You’re Welcome. The Stingray we saw was a teenager, and probably explains why it was out, the diving instructors rarely see a stingray just swimming around, so we were lucky to see that.

On the last night of downpour I saw two crabs the size of Dungess crabs. And I couldn’t help but to think about dinner.

Well, maybe I’m glad that Gros Cap is on rock rather than sand. Now I’ll think twice about spreading out my beach towel on any beach. I will also think twice about leaning slightly back on any toilet. Nannie

Cool! Now every time I wriggle my toes in the sand I’ll think of parrotfish!
